We know how much kids love music at their parties and we are here to help with our kids DJ disco hire package in Melbourne. For any Kids DJ blue light disco hire in Melbourne, we normally suggest playing pop music and top 50 music from the radio. Our kid’s party DJ’s have a working with children check.
We offer a range of fun games to play for every kids DJ hire party including:
- Musical chairs
- Musical Statues
- Limbo
- Dance competitions
From time to time, we ask the parents or children to be judges and possibly award prizes for the best dancers. We want to make sure that every kids DJ package is fun for everyone. Unfortunately, we cannot provide prizes for any games played.
Games are optional for our kid’s party DJ / kids Disco hire package, as it is not always suitable for every age range. For this reason, we may suggest discussing the option of playing games with teenagers because they prefer music and dancing. Furthermore, we are happy to take guidance from you or your child on this matter. One of our core values is fun, we aim to make every night fun. This is no exception for our kid’s party DJ hire packages.
Additionally, we recommend that a booking is between 3-4 hours long. Our minimum booking time is 3 hours from Sunday to Friday, whilst our minimum booking time for Saturday night is 4 hours. The Dance Competition
Kids Party DJ hire / Kids disco / Blue light disco DJ hire dance competition
This is one of our most popular games to be played at our kids party DJ hires. We try to heavily involve the students in this game. Our DJ will act like a Gameshow host selecting between 2-3 judges. The DJ will explain the rules of the game to make sure children pick the best dancer fairly. The DJ will play three songs and at the end of each one, they will ask the judges which of the contestants are standing out. After all three songs have been played the judges will deliberate choosing first, second and third place.
The DJ may also select judges of all boys or all girls and ask them to judge each other.
Kids Party DJ hire / Kids disco / Blue light disco DJ hire dance competition rules
- Judges can’t pick their friends as winners.
- If a dancer has won any previous competitions they can’t be chosen to be a winner in other competitions.
- Children can only be a judge once.
We do suggest offering the children prizes, however, Only DJ’s Melbourne reserves the right to not provide prizes to the students.

Children have requested songs with inappropriate language. As a result, some profanities can be played unintentionally. We do strive to keep profanities at zero. Our live tracking is operated through Google maps. On the day of your event, our operators will send you one SMS with the link to see our live location and estimated time of arrival (ETA). All you will need to do is click the link and open it up in Google Maps. Google Maps will give you our real-time position and our estimated time of arrival that will change due to traffic conditions. You will now no longer have to ask yourself, is my dry ice hire near me yet?
